Vestige is a location-aware audio guide. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Vestige. You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen in the app.

Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, on the terms shown at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your store account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Vestige is designed to be used while walking. Stay alert: do not use the app in a way that distracts you from traffic, terrain, or your personal safety, and obey local laws. Audio narration is for general interest only — it is AI-generated, may contain inaccuracies, and is not professional, historical, or navigational advice.

If you upload a community story, you keep ownership of it and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and play it to Vestige users. You must have the rights to anything you upload, and it must not be unlawful, infringing, hateful, or harassing. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

The app, brand, and generated narration are owned by or licensed to Vestige. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, or abuse the service — including attempting to overload it or extract its underlying systems.

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

We may update these terms or modify the service; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date above. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
